Lucia Cifarelli is undeniably one of the towering vocal and songwriting powerhouses of a generation and beyond, known primarily as the front woman for the Ultra Heavy Beat sensation of KMFDM, as well as numerous collaborations with the likes of Acumen Nation/DJ? Acucrack, Combichrist, Victor Love, Valentina, Julian Beeston's Featured, and more, native New Yorker Cifarelli got her start in the 90’s alternative rock band DRILL on A&M Records, opening for Marilyn Manson, Stabbing Westward, Gang of Four, God Lives Underwater, Ace Freely, The Genitorturers and Sister Machine Gun.“What You Are” from DRILL’s debut self-titled album was featured in the movie soundtrack “Empire Records”, and “I Will” from Lucia’s first solo album “From The Land Of Volcanos”(released 2003) was featured in the movie soundtrack “American Pie 2”. In 2021 Lucia released her sophomore solo album “I Am Eye” on Metropolis Records. After successfully launching a Kickstarter campaign in March 2024, Lucia released her third (independent) solo album “No God Here” in late 2024 to critical acclaim, landing on The Aquarian Weekly’s Top 10 albums of 2024. Produced by Lucia and Sascha Konietzko, the album features contributions from KMFDM bandmates Sascha Konietzko, Andy Selway, Andee Blacksugar, and Jules Hodgson. “No God Here” is the first album in which Lucia wrote all the songs herself, as well as having created album artwork and videos." Lucia's thoughtful and emotional lyrics are defiance and vulnerability personified, with songs that seek to shed light on the darkest parts of human experience. As the front woman of KMFDM Cifarelli has contributed to thirteen studio albums to date and performed five hundred and thirty-five shows as a featured vocalist since 2000.
